Dorrel R. Stegall

Dorrel R. Skip Stegall, 83, Rockford, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, in Rockford Memorial Hospital.nbsp; He was born December 18, 1927, in Rock Falls, the son of Clarence and Margaret (Reiland) Stegall.nbsp; Dorrel married Delores Johnson in Rockford on January 28, 1950.nbsp; He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy. Dorrel worked for National Lock Company for over 30 years. He was a member of Ellida Lodge and a past member of the SM and SF Club.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Delores: children, Diane Stegall of Gallantin, TN, Don (Jane) Stegall of Bloomington, Doreen Dee (Ricky) Davenport of Gallantin, TN, and Danny Stegall of South Beloit; 8 grandchidren; 7 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bob (Milly) Stegall of Rockford.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents and his daughter, Debra.
Funeral service will be at 11 AM, Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av.
