Edward J. Sauberlich

Edward J. Sauberlich, 71, of Machesney Park, passed away in his home Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Born July 23, 1944, in Rockford, the son of Herman & Nina (Lewis) Sauberlich.
During his life Edward lived in Illinois, Alaska and California and had held jobs as electrician, truck driver, bar and pool business owner and contractor. He enjoyed being outside spending time with his friends, working on cars, hunting and fishing in his early years, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandsons.

Survivors include Son Troy Sauberlich, grandsons A.J. and Ryne Sauberlich, siblings Donna (Jim) Owens, Rita Ritter, Shirley Trudeaux, Mary Ellen Giometta, David (Sandy) Sauberlich, and Dolores (Tom) Morehouse.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103 with the Rev. Randy Young officiating.
