Eileen A. Cooper

Eileen Cooper, 82, of Rockford passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Provena St. Annes Center. Born on a family farm on April 26, 1930 to Gust and Hildur Anderson in Ortonville, MN. Eileen was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She began formal education in a one room schoolhouse. When still in grade school, the family moved into town. She graduated from Ortonville High School in 1948. Eileen married Arlynn Cooper and moved to Rockford, where two children were born, Pam and Craig. She worked for many years as a private secretary. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Hall D at Provena St. Annes for all their kindness and compassion. Remember me with smiles and laughter for that is how I will remember you. If you can only remember me with tears and sadness, then dont remember me at all.Left to mourn is her wonderful daughter, Pam; a niece; 4 nephews; 6 godchildren; and 2 special women considered daughters, Jill Butitta and Bette Leque. Predeceased by her parents, husband, Arlynn, son, Craig, and brothers, Art and Warner.Private family service to be held at a later date.
