Eleanor M. Rotello, 86
Rockford-Eleanor M. Rotello, 86, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born May 2, 1929 the daughter of Matthew & Josephine (DeCorte) Nibbio. Married Frank J. Rotello in Rockford on August 7, 1947. He predeceased her on October 24, 1995. During her life she helped her husband run the family grocery store. The majority of her life she was a homemaker raising her loving children. Eleanor was a member of St. Bernadette Church. She shared a special bond with her sisters baking Italian cookies for family during the holidays, birthdays and any special family events. She loved cooking, spending time with her family. Eleanor was known for making everyone feel special, she was a very caring person. Her welcome smile and gracious heart will be carried forward in our memories forever.
Predeceased by her brother Sam Nibbio, sister Martha Nibbio and brother Vince Nibbio.
Survivors include sons Vito (Gay), Frank (Janet) and Lou (Nanci) Rotello, daughter Claire (Paul) Galluzzo; grandchildren Amy (Jasen) Heideman, Emily (Phil) Drennan, Allison (Greg) Decman, Vanessa (Matt) Kerno, Zach (Alison) Rotello, Josh (Laura) Rotello, Adam (Nina) Rotello, Brittany Rotello, Paul and Kristina Galluzzo; 19 great grandchildren; sister Frances Nibbio; brother Nick Nibbio of CA. sisters in law Patricia Nibbio of Wauconda, IL, Stella Graciana and Lucille Nibbio, brother in law Mike (Jennie) Rotello, and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park. Visitation from 9 a.m. until time of mass. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery.
