Eleanor Shinn

Eleanor L.nbsp; Ellie Shinn, 77 of Rockford, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 in her home. Born January 7, 1935 in Euclid, OH the daughter of William and Florence (Blaschke) Frank. Graduated from Proviso East High School Class of 1952 and attended the University of Illinois, Circle Campus. Ellie worked for Eclipse Inc. as a purchasing agent and buyer for 17 years before moving on to Rockford Products Corporation for 12 a??a? years, retiring in 2005. Survivors include her son John (Beth) Shinn of Danville; daughter, Nancy Ann (Martin) Moses of Oak Forest; grandchildren, Stephanie (Joseph) Gaydos, Margot Shinn and Matthew and Emily Moses; brother, James (Angel) Frank of Sugar Grove; sisterinlaw, Carol Frank of Bosque Farms, NM and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother, William Frank. Memorial service Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church 675 N. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Dr. Mark Hagen officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2012 from 57 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
