Elizabeth D. Vosberg

Elizabeth D. Vosberg, 76, of Rockford, IL passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born August 13, 1946, in Rockford, IL the daughter of Vivian (Stowell) and Joseph Magin. Elizabeth attended Rockford West High School graduating in 1964. Elizabeth married Kenneth Vosberg on August 28, 1965 and had two daughters. She went on to work as a cosmetologist for many years and spent the last 20 years, before her retirement, at UPS. Elizabeth had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun. She had a fondness for music and enjoyed traveling. Most of all, Elizabeth loved spending time with her family especially her beloved grandchildren.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Kristine (Todd) Olson and Victoria Kirnberger; grandchildren, John (Cassie) Hudzinski, Sydney Hudzinski, Lauren Palmer, Courtney (Mark) Moen, Tim (Kelly) Olson, Kayla Kirnberger, Kenneth Kirnberger, Kacy Kirnberger and John Kirnberger; great grandchildren, Michael and Mason Hudzinski; Finley, Emmylu, Paisley and Beau Moen; siblings, Joseph (Sharon) Magin Jr, Phillip (Kathleen) Magin and Luann Magin. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Vivian; husband, Kenneth; son-in-law, John Kirnberger. The family would like to thank the staff at Anam Care, INC. and United Hospice for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Private burial to take place at a later date at Belvidere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Anam Care, INC., 8104 Sayer Rd, Rockford, IL 61108.
