Elsie C. Lampman

Loves Park- Elsie C. Lampman of Loves Park died peacefully in her home on Friday, January 16, 2009. Born January 7, 1923 in Barron, WI, the daughter of Axel L. & Alice F. Mickelson. Lived most of her life in Rockford. She married Anthony L. Lampman in Rockford, on November 1, 1947. He predeceased her on January 12, 2005.  She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.   Survivors include son, Steven M. Lampman of Sacramento, CA; daughters Susan L. (James) Eikenberry of Stockton, CA, Sandra L. (Michael) Schmit of Belvidere, IL, and Sharon L. (Jim) Leidel of Suamico, WI.; grandchildren David Eikenberry,  Steve Eikenberry, Chris Johnson, Rachel Schmit, and Aaron Schmit; and great granddaughters Audrey Eikenberry, Amber Eikenberry, and Auralia Schmit. Predeceased by parents, husband, brothers Leonard and John Mickelson and sister Norma Johnson.  The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Willard Moore, Heartland Hospice, and her personal caregiver, Nana.  Services will be private with entombment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
