Elsie Morris

Elsie Morris, 93, of Durand, IL, formally of Rockford, passed away December 1, 2019 at Medina Manor. Born February 27, 1926 in Walnut Ridge, AR, the daughter of Addie & Cora (Guinn) Buchanan. She married Paul G. Morris, Sr. on September 13, 1947 in Walnut Ridge, AR. Later they moved to the Rockford where she was employed as an inspector for Mallquist Butter & Egg, retiring in 1987 after 26 years.
She was a former member of Victory Baptist Church. Both she and Paul enjoyed the outdoors, especially, camping, fishing, and gardening.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Sue) Morris and Debbie Cacciapaglia; grandchildren, Amy (Kevin) Appelgren, Johnny (Sam) Morris, Terry (Staci) Morris, Jr, Tiffany (Jonathan) Manning, Heidi (Tim) Eytalis, Jason (Gina) Desforges, Jesse (Marcey) Morris, Scott (Kim) Pearson, Robin (Jeremy) King, Joe (Mary) Cacciapaglia and Jessica (Michael) Anderson; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; Daughter in law Polly (Kenny) Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close family friends.
Predeceased by parents; husband; son, Paul Morris, Jr; siblings, Thelma, Yance, E.P. and Bell; son in law, Martin Cacciapaglia.
