Frances J. Fiduccia

Frances J. "Fran" Fiduccia, of Rockford, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Born March 15, 1927, in Rockford, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Goral. Married Sam J. Fiduccia in Rockford on August 23, 1947. Fran was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Fran loved spending time with her grandchildren.Survivors include her husband, Sam; son, Dave (Monika) Fiduccia of Rockford; grandchildren, Ian and Melissa Fiduccia; nieces, Linda Pulizzi, Sue Fiduccia and Carolyn Fiduccia; nephews, Joey (Barbi) Salamone, Richard (Connie) Podezwa and Steven Smith; sister, Jane Tarbert of Wausau, WI; sister-in-law, Vonda Goral; and several nieces and nephews in the Wausau, WI area. Predeceased by her parents; a sister, Virginia Smith and a brother, Matthew Goral.Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am. Friday, February 25, 2011, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 5:00pm until 8:00pm, Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av.
