Frances J. Prezioso

Frances J. Prezioso, 83, of Rockford joined the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018 in Rochester, Minnesota. Born August 1, 1935, in Rockford, the daughter of Francis and Stephanie (Stasica) Konieczki. Frances was a graduate of Muldoon High in 1953. Frances married Nicholas Prezioso Jr. on June 4, 1957. Frances owned The House of Yarn and later owned The Chalet Bakery with her husband, Nicholas. She was also a secretary for the Holiday Inn and the Rockford Board of Education. Throughout her life, she was also a hairdresser. She was kind to all, caring of others, generous to a fault, and had the kind of grace to be emulated. Fran loved God, her family, and her friends. Her yard was her pride and joy working tirelessly towards the dislike of dandelions. She was a master of crocheting and knitting. Her cooking was unmatched even for a 100 people. She had a great sense of humor that she knew was a key to every day stress and was always there to comfort others. Her agenda was always full with breakfasts, lunches, and dinners out, time spent at the lake, or just a cup of coffee or a martini with friends and family.
Lovingly survived by her children, Mark (Christy) Prezioso, Patricia (Brian) Whitlow and Victoria (Thomas) Lehrke; grandchildren, Steven, Troy (Jennifer), Christopher (Kristina), Steve, Brett (Natasha), Nathaniel and Stella (Kyle); 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Jim) Suess and Ron Konieczki; dearest friend, Marilyn Klotz and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Predeceased by her husband, Nicholas and son, Steven Prezioso.
