Francis "Frank" J. Kitson, 41 Devoted Dad Francis "Frank" J. Kitson, 41 of Rockford, died on Friday, May 25, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Frank was born on December 1, 1965 in Fountain Hill, Pennsylvania, the son of J. Douglas and Sandra (Anderko) Kitson of Murrells Inlet, SC, who survive him. He was a graduate of Libertyville High School of Libertyville, Il and attended Heartland Community Church. Frank enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends from Rockford Riders. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He loved to fly his model airplanes, but most of all he truly enjoyed taking care of his children, Danielle and Franky, who also survive him. Besides his parents and children, Frank is survived by grandmother, Dorothy Anderko of PA; Uncle Jack Kitson of MA and Aunt Catherine Justice of FL; cousins, Tracy Grimm of NY and Tommy Ahern of PA; former wife, Stephanie Gusius of Rockford; and girlfriend, Jane Rennicke of Rockford; Frank was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and his great grandmother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Lasting gifts in memory of Frank may be made to the American Cancer Society.
