Francisco "Frank" J. Serrano

Francisco “Frank” J. Serrano, 62, of Rockford passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was born on August 6, 1955 in the city of Veracruz, Verazcruz, Mexico. For many years he worked as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed photography, especially of cars and nature.

He is survived by his parents, Antonio and Micaela (Robles) Serrano; his siblings, Maria Larrazabal, Victor Serrano and Miguel Serrano; and nieces, nephews, and 5 great nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial Arlington Cemetery.
