Frank Breidigam, Jr.

Frank Ted Breidigam, Jr., 82, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, February 11, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital.
He was born April 30, 1930, in Chicago, the son of Frank and Marie (Brandl) Breidigam, Sr.
Ted married Gertrude E. Schleef in Kankakee on October 16, 1954.
He was an industrial engineer at Sundstrand Corporation for 10 years before starting Aqua Cut, Inc. until his retirement. Ted was a longtime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church where he was active in many areas of the church over the years. nbsp;He enjoyed traveling with his family, working on his cars, spending time in his basement workshop, and playing the piano, especially classical music.
Ted was a gentle person and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gertrude, his daughters, Sue Breidigam of Rockford and Janet Breidigam of Plymouth, Minnesota; his sister, Betty Swab of Naples, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 11 am, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural St.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:45 am on Saturday, at the church. Arrangements by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Memorials may be made to Our Saviors Lutheran Church or to the charity of donors choice.
