Garet M Jeffery

Garet Michael Jeffery, 35 of Rockford and formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died unexpectedly Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was born September 17, 1978 in Rockford the beautiful baby boy of Gary and Christine (Edwards) Jeffery. Garet and his family moved to Broken Arrow, OK and that is where he and his sister were raised and attended high school. He was a natural comedian who could make anyone laugh and was a wonderful, kind, caring and compassionate man. He was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Chicago Bears. He also had a great passion for dogs, his calming ways always made them, and any animal he encountered, comfortable. Garet's love for his family was his utmost priority, he cherished time spent with his immediate family and most of all his nieces, nephew and cousins. His smile, love and big heart will be missed dearly by his family and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of their family and close supportive friends.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Christine Jeffery of Rockford, IL; sister, Jennifer (Randy) Wilkerson of Alvin, TX; nieces, Jaycie and Julie Rose; nephew, Jack all of Alvin, TX; maternal grandparents, DeWolfe and Patricia Edwards of Rockford; aunts and uncles; Steven Edwards, Rebecca Edwards, Vicky (Ed) Spencer all of Rockford and Tom Jeffery of Tulsa, OK; cousins, Lucas (Nicole) Jones and family and Michelle Jones. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Francis Jeffery.
