Gary A. Lubbert

Gary A. Lubbert 52 of Rockford passed away Monday May 16, 2016 in Swedish American Hospital. He was born July 18, 1963 in Charles City Iowa, the son of Roy and Margaret Lubbert. He graduated with his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from University of Northern Iowa. He went on to teach at Central College in Pella, IA. He then worked for 20 years at Rockford University. Member of Heartland Church.
Survivors include his Mother, Margaret. Siblings, Barbara Foster, Dennis (Susan) Lubbert, Betty (Hal) Mallory and Terry Joe Lubbert. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his father, Roy and Brother, Jerry.
Funeral services at 1pm Saturday May 21, 2016 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 South Mulford Road Rockford, IL 61108. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation from 11am until 1pm Saturday in the funeral home. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
