George J. Fiorenza

George J. Fiorenza, 67 died unexpectedly on Friday, August 16 in his home. Born August 16, 1946 in Rockford the son of Anthony and Alice (LaMarca) Fiorenza. At an early age he was afflicted with polio but that never stopped him. Graduated from Auburn High School class of 1968 and entered into the work force as a tool and die maker for Camcar for over 30 years. George was an avid golfer and could be found at the course having a great time with his wonderful friends. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Linda and Barbara Fiorenza; numerous nieces and nephews; his fiancé, Gwen Huntley and her family, daughter, Dianna (Aaron) Roush; grandchildren, Jacob (Hailey) Tijerina and Allison and Jenna Roush. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Samuel and Louis.

Funeral service Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4055 N. Rockton Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Douglas Williams officiating.
