George W. Garrett

August 18, 1936 — May 30, 2019

George W. Garrett, 82, of Stillman Valley passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019. He was born August 18, 1936 in Painton Missouri, the son of Oscar and Myrtle (Gross) Garrett. George was raised on a cotton farm and had many challenges in his life which he faced head on. These experiences molded him into an amazing man. George married the love of his life, Shirley Spray, on July 13, 1955. He had an incredible work ethic. George never met a stranger, you were a friend for life. He enjoyed traveling and would often run into people he knew along the way. He also was an avid fisherman.
