Gerald C. Fiordelisi

Gerald "Jerry" Fiordelisi, 77, of Rockford passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 in OSF St Anthony Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1936 in Rockford, the son of Rocco and Carmen Fiordelisi. He graduated from Harlem High School in 1954 and then graduated NIU in 1958. Jerry served in the Army National Guard. He married Edith Jean Bradshaw in Puerto Rico on April 6, 1979. Jerry was the former owner of Rocky's Tap in Loves Park, IL. He currently worked at the Illinois Secretary of State office since 1993. He was a member of Christ Church. Jerry was a kind, loving, gentle giant to all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife Jean of Rockford, daughter, Catherine Fiordelisi of Scottsdale, AZ, children: Larry (Esther) Blanco of Virginia Beach, VA, Mark (Linda) Blanco of Nashville, TN, Joni (Rick) Huber of San Antonio, TX, and Robert (Wendy) Brinkmeier of Huntsville, AL, 27 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by his brother, Rocco (Marie) Fiordelisi of St Louis, MO and sister, Linda (Norm) Glomp of Scottsdale, AZ. Predeceased by his parents and daughter, Laura Steinhauer.
