Gladys A. Ennis

Gladys A. Ennis, 81, of Rockford, IL passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, in Stevens Point, WI surrounded by her family. Gladys was born February 4, 1941, in Topeka, KS the daughter to Joseph and Josephine Osterhaus. She married Donald Ennis and had three children. Gladys worked at the Winnebago County Court house until her retirement. Gladys adored her family and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching and playing cards.

Gladys is survived by her son, Daniel (Theresa) Ennis; daughter-in-law, Lori Ennis; grandchildren, Kevin Ennis, Robert Ennis, Jeremy Ennis, Stephanie (Nathan) Anderson, Sierra Schroeder and Ryan Schroeder. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Donald; son, Michael Ennis and daughter, Sandra Schroeder.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a cause to be determined. Share online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
