Grace Arendt

Grace L. Arendt 95 of Rockford passed away Saturday February 23, 2013 in Provena St Anne Center.
She was born March 8, 1917 in Merrill, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Ruth Slivinski.
She married John Arendt on August 15, 1932 in Waukegan, IL.
John Predeceased her in 1969.
She worked fro JL Clark for 35 years.
Member of St. Edwards Church, St. Edwards Ladies Guild, Kenrock Senior Citizens Club and founder of the Tin Lizzy Club.

Survivors include her Daughter, Joanne (S. Robert) Friesen of Rockford.
Grandchildren, Sue (Floyd) Simonson of Cherry Valley and William J (Sheri) Arendt of Burr Ridge.
Great Grandchildren, Valerie (Ankit) Shah of Mountain View, CA, John Robert and Jason Arendt both of Burr Ridge, Tawny Blatchford, Garden Prairie, Mitzie Carey, Judy Keegan, and Joan Minter, all of Belvidere.
Predeceased by her parents, Husband John and Son, Ralph James.

Mass of Christian Burial at 10am Thursday February, 28, 2012 in St Edward Church.
Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation from 9am until time of service Thursday in the church.
