GRACE MARIE GRAFF, 81, Rockford, died at 11:49 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2007 in Rockford Memorial Hospital.nbsp; Born June 22, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of Leonard and Esther Ballard Dexter.nbsp; Married LaVerne Graff in Freeport on August 2, 1946. nbsp;Employed at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Food Service for many years.nbsp; Grace was a loving mother whose joy was in her children and grandchildren.nbsp; She was an exceptional cook, loved her flowers and grandpuppy, Princess.nbsp; Her family will miss her terribly. nbsp; Survivors include her son, James R. Graff, Sr.; daughters, Susan A. (Marv) Waeffler and Connie J. Peppers (special friend, Dave Brownley grandchildren, Vanessa (Mike) Bores, Robert (Leigh) Graff, Debbie Lingelbach, James Graff, Jr., Michael Peppers and Mindy Graff.nbsp; Also survived by her great grandchildren, Amanda, Cobey, Bryanna, Tony, Kyle, Austyn, Brooklyn and Lauryn and her brothers, Leonard (Shirley) Dexter and Jack (Delores) Dexter. nbsp; Predeceased by her husband LaVerne on May 27, 1960, her parents, brother, Richard Dexter and her grandson, Anthony Waeffler. nbsp; Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. James Moore, Riverside Assembly of God Church officiating.nbsp; Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Freeport.
