Rockford- Ignacio Moreno, 78, passed away, Monday, February 15, 2016 in Mexico. Born June 27, 1937 in Mexico, the son of Librado & Josefa (Salcido) Moreno. He lived in the Rockford/Belvidere area for the past 24 years, coming from Chicago. Married Olga Garcia in Mexico on July 26, 1957. He owned and operated his own drywall company.
Survivors include daughters Luz Maria, Olga Lilia, Marbella and Ceydy; sons Santos, Ignacio, Aldo, Alonso, and Humberto; 2 sisters, 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Edwards Catholic Church. Visitation Sunday from 2-5 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N.
