Jacqueline E. Swanson, 86, of Rockford passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011.nbsp; Born October 2, 1924, she is the daughter of Paul and Rose Scamardo.nbsp; Jacqueline married James Swanson in November of 1975.nbsp; She worked for GC Electronics, Dr. Robert Schleicher and Rockford City Hall.nbsp; Member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Ladies of the Nile. She loved to all over the world especially Europe, Asia and South America. Jacqueline and Jim enjoyed their home in Galena.nbsp; She loved her family more than anything. Lovingly survived by her daughter, Roslynde Cave Taphorn; grandchildren, Kristine (Jason) Martindale and Mark Taphorn; great-grandsons, Jacob, Joseph and Kevin Martindale; nieces, Gloria (Dan) Olson of California, Dolly (Donald) Manning of California and Deni (Michael) Upshaw of Rockford; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband, daughter, Patricia Cave Coburn, parents, siblings, Rose Houck, Annette Tower, Joseph and Matthew.nbsp; Roslynde would like to give a special thank you to her cousin, Deni Upshaw, for her support and assisting with the details of Jacquelines service and to the doctors and nurses at SwedishAmerican Coronary Intensive Care Unit.
