Jan Faythe Stafford

Jan Faythe Stafford, 75, of Belvidere, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2016. Jan was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on August 17, 1940; to parents, Robert C. and Sylvia E. (Bowen) Stafford. She grew up and went to school in Spartanburg, South Carolina; and was united in marriage to William D. Stinocher in 1958. Jan worked for Admiral Corp., Arnold Engineering, Swedish American Hospital, Genesis West Hospital, and Fejervary Health Care. She was also resident manager at The Cottage in Davenport, Iowa; and worked in Home Health Care. Jan was a loving mother and woman of God, and her family will cherish her always. They rest assured knowing that she is at peace and now in the presence of the Lord.

Jan is survived by her precious daughters, Tara Jean (David) McClenthen, Susan Kay (Will) Harrington, and Valerie Ann (David) Ries; grandchildren, Jacqui Schadel, Jessica Parr, Sammie Schadel, and Kirsten and Koryn Ries; great grandchildren, Elysse, Alivia, Adalee, Ayden, Jaxson, Kaylaunii, and Jaeln. A special acknowledgement to her sister, Anita McClenthen and Pastor Dan Qualls of Bethel Assembly of God Church. Predeceased by her parents; brothers, Robert Stafford Jr. and Billy Stafford; sister, Evangeline Young.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016; at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, 61108. Burial will follow to Arlington Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the funeral home, and will continue on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
