Loving wife, mother and sister

Jean M. (Witkowski) Bederka, 54, a lifelong resident of Rockford passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in her home after a long illness.
Born a triplett on December 12, 1958; the daughter of John and Grace Sekenski Witkowski.
Graduated from East High School Class of 1976.
Married Thomas Bederka on September 24, 1983 at St. Rita Catholic Church.
Jean loved dogs, reading and cooking.nbsp;nbsp; The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Hamdani and the staff at Kindred Hospital for their compassionate care.

Survived by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Nicole; brother, Gary Witkowski; sisters, Joy (Michael) Heaslip, Jill (Scott) Mishmash and June (Raymond) Kindermann; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Joseph Witkowski.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. Rita Catholic Church with a visitation from 9:00 until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center.
