Jean E. Gustman

Jean E. Gustman, 75, of Rockford passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born November 8, 1933 in Rockford, the daughter of Fred N. and Helen (Blake) Jackson. She married Raymond A. Gustman on September 4, 1954. Jean worked for Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. in telecommunications for 26 years. She loved knitting and often donated knitted hats to neonatal units at local hospitals. Jean was also well known for her pecan pie and her love of cooking. Jean is survived by her husband Raymond, sons Dan, Jerry (Kelly) and Tim Gustman. Grandchildren Lindsey (David) Homan and Jordan Gustman. Sister Joan (Vincent) Breuer, nephew Joe Breuer and special friend Val Greer. She is predeceased by her parents. A Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108.
