Jeanette Rosemary Cates

Jeanette Rosemary Cates, 78 of Rockford, died Dec. 25, 2007 at Park Strathmoor Nursing Home. Born May 26, 1929 in Brandville, MO daughter of John and Lucy Willard. Married her loving husband Cecil Cates on November 30, 1946 in Walnut Ridge. Was a member of Woodside General Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters: Janie (Michael) Withrow and Sandy (William) Scivally; grandchildren; Brett (Cheryl) Merrick, John, Joshua (Christy) Merrick, Jennifer (Rick) Jackson and Joanne Scivally; 11 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Geraldine Johnson and Mary (Isaac) Robins and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband on Sept. 4, 2001, grandson, Mark Scivally, sisters Marie Burke, Pearl Winfrey, Bonita Kopp and Imogene Thrasher and an infant brother. nbsp;Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 28 at 12:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S.
