Jeanne Shellhorn

Jeanne Shellhorn, 42, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born July 26, 1970 in LaCrosse, WI; daughter of Eugene and Jo (Kimball) Howe. Married Scott Shellhorn in Rockton in 2006. Jeanne loved to play mud volleyball, go hunting, read and scrapbook. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching movies. Jeanne had a beautiful smile and was an inspiration to many people.

Survivors include her husband, Scott; daughter, Julia McClenthen; mother, Jo Erickson; father, Eugene Howe; stepchildren, William and Corie Shellhorn; brothers, Scott Howe, Dan (Polly) Howe and Mike (Jess) Tittlefitz; mother and fatherinlaw, Tom (Lynn) Shellhorn; brotherinlaw, Todd (Tracy) Shellhorn and sisterinlaw, Heather (Dan) Steines.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 7:00pm Friday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Saturday, November 10 at 1:00pm in Greenwood Cemetery in Galena.
