Jearldean Alexander

Jearldean Alexander 79 of Monroe Center passed away Thursday March 18, 2015 in Kindred Hospital. She was born May 19, 1935 in Alabama, the daughter of Grady and Artie Otts. She married Ralph Alexander on May 12, 1952. Ralph predeceased her in 2007. She managed both Insurance Liquidators and Ben Franklin in Rockford. She was a member of Monroe Center Community Church. Jearldean had a passion for quilting and loved to make them for everyone in her family.
Survivors include her three children, Debra (Jim) Nichols, Linda (Ron) Slabaugh and Brian (Jeani) Alexander. Grandchildren, Shanna, Steve, Michael, Cory, Allie and Matt, and numerous great grandchildren. Twin Sister, Christine Otts and Sister –in-law Dean Otts. After the loss of her husband, she fell in love again with her very special friend, Barry Weeks. Predeceased by her husband Ralph, infant son Michael, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services at 3pm Sunday March 22, 2015 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 South Mulford Road with Pastor Bob Mellon officiating. Visitation from 1pm until 3pm Sunday in the funeral home. Burial Saturday March 28, 2015 in Crews Cemetery in Sulligent, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials will go to Monroe Center Community Church. Express online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
