Jeffrey "Jeff" A. Tucker

Jeffrey “Jeff” A. Tucker, 58, of Poplar Grove, IL passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018. Jeff was born September 14, 1960 in Rockford, IL, son of Franklin and Helen (Hawks) Tucker. He married Audra (Michaels) Tucker at Disney World in Orlando, FL on May 17, 2007. Jeff attended Harlem High School, Class of 1978. He was a firefighter with the Leaf River Fire Dept. for 13 years and later an E.M.T. He owned Tucker Heating & A/C and Alliance Heating and Air. Jeff loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Surviving relatives include his mother, Helen Tucker; loving wife, Audra; children, Jeffrey II, Jonathon, William, Breonna, Jessica, Skylar and London Tucker and Tyler and Dan Massie who were like sons to Jeff; grandchildren, Sebastian, Reagan, Jackson, Dylan, Ashton, Caleb, Mikey, Aria and Brooke; brother, Robert “Frankie” Tucker; sisters, Cathy Shrauner, Carolyn (Greg) Johnson, Cynthia Tucker (Mark Hackney) and Candace (Bill) Balmes; many nieces and nephews and Connie Tucker who was like a daughter to Jeff. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Bill (Lena) Hawks and John Thomas (Violet) Tucker; father, Frank Tucker; niece, Mindy Tucker; grandson, Michael Tucker; many aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Cremation rites will take place following the funeral services. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
