Jesse Alexander

Jesse B. "Jay” Alexander, Jr., 48, Belvidere, was promoted to Heaven on Saturday, May 4, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital. He was born in Belvidere on March 7, 1965, the son of Jesse B. and Barbara (Giggleman) Alexander, Sr. Jay married Anna Smallwood in Poplar Grove on September 3, 1988. He was employed as a manager at Cam Car Corporation for 20 years and later at Rockford Bolt and Steel for 4 years. Jay has blessed the lives of many people and leaves a legacy of his good nature behind in not just family, but countless friends. His influence will be felt on this world long after his departure in the heavens. Good people change how you see others, great people change how you see yourself, but the best people change how you perceive the world. Jay's family would like to thank Dr's James Woodman and J.D. Sabharwal for their kind and compassionate care over the years. Survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Anna; his two caring sons, Jesse (Erika Beal) and Justin (Kayleen Gallagher); his parents, Jesse and Barbara Alexander, Sr.; brother, Richard (Pam) Alexander; sister, Vicky Tribble; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Robin Mooreand his brother-in-law, Gerald Tribble. Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av.
