John A. Carson

John A. Carson, 57, of Rockford for 17 years and formerly of Chicago, died on June 3, 2007.nbsp; John was born May 25, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio the son of John A. and Frances (Cerne) and Bill Zimmerman.nbsp;John had played football for Ohio State University where he received his Bachelors Degree.nbsp; He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. John loved working for Habitat for Humanity and spending time with his two sons, Kyle and Kevin. John is survived by his former wife, Stacy (Bryant) Carson; his two sons, Kyle and Kevin Carson; his sister, Marlene Atterberry;nbsp; his brothers, James Carson, Al (Barb) Carson and Wayne Baker Carson and many nieces and nephews and close friends. John was preceded in death by his father, mother and step-father.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;
