John F. Sugar

John F. Sugar, 85, born November 3, 1926, passed away October 30, 2012 after a long illness. John was a member of the National Federation of Postal Workers for more than 60 years. After retiring from the USPS, he worked for Illinois National Bank and Ledges Golf Course. John served in WWII and was recalled during the Korean War.John is predeceased by parents, Jack and Rose (Fabiano) Sugar; wife, Poppy, baby daughter, Jacqueline and sister, Rosalind Lonergan. Survived by brother, Nick; brotherinlaw, John F. and Kathy Lonergan;niece, Keslie Crichton; nephew, John Peter Crichton, along with other family members.Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 in Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Edward J. Seisser officiating. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mas at the church on Saturday. Private family burial.
