John Stanley Grabowy

John Stanley Grabowy, 75 of Lake Summerset, Illinois passed on July 9, 2020. Survived by his loving wife, Danna (nee Hirsch), of 46 years. Wonderful father to Rebecca (Tom Dierickx) and Jonathan (Amy) and Grandfather to Sam, Josh, Gabi, John V., and Grace. John was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, by the late John C. and Stella Grabowy and was a wonderful older brother to Suzanne (Bill Harper). He moved to Des Plaines, Illinois to raise his family, and retired to Lake Summerset, Illinois. John cherished his woodworking, especially with cabinetry. He loved fixing things and teaching others how to make the most out of what they have. After working as the head electrician for School District 54, he was able to fulfill his dream and retire to the country and continue with his woodworking passion.
