Joseph C. Bollock, Jr. 75 a lifelong resident of Rockford, died Thursday, January 17, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. Born February 24, 1937 the son of Joseph C. and Ann (Frank) Bollock, Sr. Married his loving wife Barbara J. Johnson and worked at Rockford Products as a machinist for 46 years. Joe was a member of the Blackhawk Athletic Club, SMSF Club and was and avid Cubs and Bears fan, NASCAR fan and you could always count on the weather channel being on if a game wasnt . He is survived by his children, Cindy (Ron) Palm of Rockford, Jeff (Daralee) Bollock of Rockford , Connie (Ken) Parker of Rockford and Tom (Maurice) Bollock of Raleigh, NC.; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothersinlaw, Jack Wright, Sr. of Rockford, Ed Marx of Belvidere, Roger (Beryl) Johnson and Walter (Jennette) Johnson, Jr. both of Rockford; sisterinlaw, Margie Harper of Cypress, CA; God daughter, Gwen McCormick of Lac Du Flambeau, WI and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara in Nov. of 2011 and his sister, Sherry Marx. Funeral service Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Nat Bauer officiating. Visitation Monday in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be held at Highland Garden of Memories, Belvidere. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to the family for a memorial to be determined at a later date.
