Josephine V. Zdeb

Josephine V. Zdeb, of Albuquerque, passed away June 29, 2012. Josephine was born February 14, 1917. That V., for Valentine, was of utmost importance to Jo. Mom acquired her GED at age 54. She was an avid reader and lifelong learner. When she moved to Albuquerque, she took an entire year off to determine what she wanted to do there. She volunteered at the Albuquerque Bio Park for 23 years. Her real passion there besides "Ë?walking the grounds'¢ was the Zoo to You program.Nana is survived by her daughters Jane Weis and husband Fred, Darlene Hablewitz and husband Dennis; son Jack Davidson and wife Barbara. Grandchildren Freda, Steven, Daniel, Selma, Arnold and Brenda. Several great and greatgreat grandchildren brought her joy, as did her phone cat.In lieu of flowers, family requests honoring Jo with donations to ABQ Bio Park Society ZOO TO YOU program at 903 10 th Street SW, ABQ, NM 87102. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel assisted the family.
