JUDITH 'JUDY' CARLSON, 70

ROCKFORD - Judith "Judy" Carlson of Rockford passed away at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home, surround by her loving family. Born November 29, 1943, the daughter of Gilbert and Dorothy (Sadewater) Carlson. Graduated Rockford East High School. She worked for Hilander on Rural and James Rogge State Farm Insurance. Married Lawrence "Larry" Carlson in Rockford on November 16, 1962. Judy was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend of many. Survivors include husband, Larry; sons, Brian (Lorraine) Carlson and Brad (Kimberly) Carlson; grandchildren Emily and Stephen Carlson, Hanna, Lea, and Ella Carlson; brother, Gary G. Carlson; sister, Diane (Dennis) Sias; several close aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews; very special family friend, Jennifer (Jeff) Cremer. Predeceased by parents; children, Terri Lyn, Stephen, and Douglas Carlson. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, with the Rev. Tony Dusso officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, and from 1:30 p.m. Friday until time of service.
