June Rittenhouse, 68 of Rockford passed away Thursday November 29, 2012 in P A Peterson. She was born June 20, 1944 in Oregon , Illinois . The daughter of Diedrich and Alice Mennenga. She married David Rittenhouse in St Pauls Lutheran Church in Oregon on December 11, 1964. June worked For Rockford Public Schools as a Para Professional for many years, she also worked at Fran Kral and Clinton Electronics. June enjoyed Gardening, Crossword & Sudoku puzzles and reading. Survivors include her husband David, Daughter; Lori Rittenhouse of Rockford . Sisters, Deloris (Dodd) Gilliland of Mount Carroll , Marialyce (Don) Block of Machesney Park . Sisterinlaw Dale Mennenga of Oregon . Six nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother Gary Mennenga.Memorial service at 7pm Tuesday December 4, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home Mulford Chapel with Pastor Paul Bundschuh officiating. Visitation from 6:30 until 7pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to be established at a later date.
