Rockford-Karl H. Vogel, 65 of Rockford, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11:30 at Pa Peterson Care Center. Born July 11, 1945 in Germany to Artur and Erna Vogel. Married Barbara L. Stano in Milwaukee, WI on January 4, 1969. Served a Tool amp; Die apprenticeship at Trumpf international in Stuttgard, Germany. Received his associates in mechanical engineering at Rock Valley College. Worked for WA Whitney for 39 years and Cleveland Punch and Die Company until retirement. Life long member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Loved being commissioner and coaching AYSO soccer for many years. Avid supporter of Rockford Rescue Mission.

Survivors; Wife, Barbara; Children Mark Vogel of Hinsdale, Il and Lynn Vogel of Raleigh, NC; 3 brothers, Gerhart (Gertrude), Joachim and Werner (Hildegund 4 sisters, Adelheid (Gert), Helga, Elli and Jutta (Dietmar) all in Germany. Sister-in-law; Suzanne Laux and Brother-in-law Niall Laux. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents.

Thank you to the NICU 3 rd floor at St. Anthonys Hospital for their loving amp; wonderful care, the entire staff, Sister Josephine, Msgr. Kobbeman and Father Wentink for their support and love. Special thanks to all our loving friends and incredible staff at PA Peterson Care Center.
