Katherine Marie Bradley

Katherine Marie Bradley, (nee Kammerer), 90,Rockford, died Monday, November 18, 2013 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born June 17, 1923 in Rockford, daughter of Warren and Lois (Campbell) Kammerer. Graduated from Pecatonica High School in 1941 and spent time living in Chicago during WWII. Married Donal Bradley in the Pecatonica Methodist Church on May 3, 1947. She worked as a secretary at Pecatonica High School before she began a long career as a dental office receptionist. She worked for Dr. Stuart Sowle, DDS, Dr. William Sowle, DDS, Dr. Walter Bittmann, DDS, Dr. Charles Ekstrom, DDS and Dr. Cynthia Sachs, DDS.

Survivors include her son, David Ransom Bradley; grandsons, Andrew and Steven Bradley;brothers, Warren (Virginia) Kammerer, James Kammerer, Wayne (Karen) Kammerer; sisters, Nellie Runne, Joan Lindquist and Phyllis Peterson. Preceded in death by her husband Donal Bradley on June 9, 1991; parents, sister, Marjorie Castree;sister-in-law, Joan Kammerer; brothers-in-law, Robert Lindquist and Willis Runne.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, November 25, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel,3910 N. Rockton Ave. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
