Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Walling

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Walling, 74, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 1, 1942, in Rockford, the daughter of Clifford and Dorothy (LeVasseur) Gallo. Kathy married John Walling in 1961. She was employed at AG Communications for 38 years.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John; her son, Matthew (Teresa) Walling; her daughters, Lori Rother and Vicki (Chuck) Kowalewski; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Bradley, Joshua, Ashley, Jessica. Breanna, Evan, and Mitchell; her great-grandchildren, Cameron, Payton Colton, Alexsya, and Mason.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M. on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
