Laura R. Cicero

Laura R. Cicero, 93 of Deltona, FL and formerly of Rockford, died Friday, April 16, 2010 in FL. Born Sept. 26, 1916 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of Russell and Clara (Vara) Teresi. Married her loving husband Alfred F. Cicero on June 2, 1935 in Independence, LA. Worked for Dan Howard Sewing Center for 18 years, retiring in 1983. Former member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a current member of Our Lady of the Lakes, FL. Laura loved sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful person with a great personality and will be missed dearly. Survivors include her son, Richard of Deltona, FL; daughter, Joann Sherritt of Deltona, FL; grandchildren, Nick (Vickie Field) Gartman, Julie (Aaron) Gracyalny, Tina (Glen) Kirschman and Michael (Jennifer) Cicero; great grandchildren, Aerianna Cicero, Karena Cicero, Anthony Michael Cicero, Lauren and Sarah Kirschman; sister-in-law, Victoria Vincer and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband in 1994; daughter, Carol; son-in-law, Garry; brothers, Charlie, Russell and Joseph; sisters, Clara English and Mamie Martin; brother-in-law, Joe Vincer and sister-in-law, Mary Cicero. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Monday, May 3, 2010 from 5 -7 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside chapel 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with a rosary service at 7p.m. Visitation continues on Tuesday in the Parish Hall from 9 9:45 a.m. Memorials to the family for a fund to be established.
