Laura Zanocco Riney

Laura Dean (Zanocco) Riney, 63, of Rockford, passed away on February 1, 2012 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Laura was born May 17, 1948 in Rockford; the daughter of Angelo and Adeline Zanocco. She was a dedicated teacher for 41 years, 33 of them for the Rockford Diocese.Laura enjoyed playing games, completing puzzles, and reading books, especially with her grandchildren. Graduate of Boylan High School Class of "66" Survivors include her daughter Kelly (Mike) Feary of St. Louis, MO, sons, Jeff (Noelle) of Chicago, and Jason (Gina) of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Rowan, Vaughn, Samantha, Jackson, and Andrew; brother, John (Jonie) of Rockford and sister, Linda (Bill) Vosik of Kearney, NE; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass at 11am Saturday February 4, 2012 in Holy Family Catholic Church 4401 Highcrest Road Rockford, Illinois 61107. Private Family Burial. Visitation will be at Holy Family from 9am until time of service. Arrangements completed by Fitzgerald Funeral Home Riverside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
