Lawrence F. Larry Didier, 74, Rockford, died Friday, December 19, 2008, in Rockford. Born October 31, 1934, in Rockford. The son of George and Angeline (Burns) Didier. Larry married Diane Sicotte in Rockford on August 25, 1962. He was a longtime member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he served as a lector. Larry was part owner with his brothers of Didier Greenhouses. He was a veteran of the Army. He was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed his cottage up north. Survived by his wife, Diane; son, Paul (Mary) of Seattle, WA, daughter, Karen Tomasino of Roscoe; three grandchildren, Asher, Isabella and Juliana; brothers, Edward, John, William, and Jerome, and his sister, Angeline Honey Reese. Predeceased by two sons who died in infancy, Lawrence and Andrew, his parents, a sister, Charlotte, and a brother, George. Funeral Mass will be 10AM, Saturday, December 27, 2008, in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2505 School St. Rockford, IL 61101 with Fr. David Beauvais officiating. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, December 26, 2008, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Rockton Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Rd. Rockford, IL 61103 and from 9:00am until service time at the church on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4312 E.
