Lena L. Lewis

Lena L. Lewis, 88, of Rockford passed away Sunday, November 9, 2019 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born October 22, 1931 in Saulsville, WV the daughter of Rev. James & Ada (Pendry) Bower. Lena married the love of her life, Willie Lewis. She worked as a beautician from the mid 1960’s until retiring in the 90’s. She enjoyed taking care of her home, especially her flowers and garden. She will forever be in the hearts of these who knew and loved her.
Survived by her daughter, Joyce (Richard) Lamont; grandchildren, Jordan Patterson, Adam Lamont; sisters, Bonnie Alice Mace, Eva Kite and Jane Stover; brother, Bob Bower, special friends, Doris and Robert Whittaker. Predeceased by her parents; husband; numerous sisters and brothers.
