Linda Brown

Linda Brown, 73, of Loves Park went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, September 9, 2021. She was born June 12, 1948 in Vaiden, Mississippi to Lawrence Bailey and Sara Bell Collins. Linda was a hardworking, loving woman with a strong will. She was quiet but gave the best advice. Linda enjoyed reading and attending church. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She was a wonderful mother, granny, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brandi (Damien Grace) Brown, Justin Brown, Arieon Parker-Brown, Ariana Parker-Brown; grandchildren, Gabriel Loury, De’Aja Grace, Damien Grace, Jr., Jaylin Brown, Jhalil Brown, Jakobe Brown, Asia Varner, Amber Varner, Ariel Varner, Oman Varner; siblings, Constance Allen and Lana (Kema) Varner Kanwei; aunt, Reverend Dr. Dorothy Muse; uncles, Edward (Pauletta) Collins, Lynn (Constance) Collins, Charles Wesley Collins; best friend, Nancy Dedrick. Preceded in death by her parents; aunts, Willie Mae Collier and Virginia McShane.
The family would like to thank granddaughter, Asia Varner for her care and devotion up until the very end.
Cremation rites entrusted with Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family for a cause to be determined.
