Linda L. Kosowiec

Linda L.(Yarbrough)Kosowiec 67 of Rockford passed away Saturday November 24, 2012 peacefully in her daughter Loris home, surrounded by her family. She was born October 19, 1945 in Portageville, Missouri. The daughter of Virginia Wilson McNabb and Leslie Yarbrough. Linda was self employed dealing in antiques and collectables, she then became manager at the former Factory Card Outlet of Rockford for 18 years. After she retired she started selling antiques again at Angelas Attic in South Beloit. Survivors include her children, Cindy (Scott) Kuhnau, Shirley (Dean) Franks, Gary Hanson Jr. and Lori Kosowiec. Grandchildren, Brad (Carisa), Brittany (Brandon), Justin, Hailey, Kayla, Colten, Crystal, Bradey, Sydney and Michael. Great grandchildren, Austin and Lucy. Brothers and Sisters, Rachael Edwards, William Yarbro, Shirley (Larry) Houston, Lester (Norma)Yarbrough, Lillie (Willie) Smith. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her two former husbands, Gary Hanson Sr. and William Kosowiec, Mother Virginia, Father Leslie, Stepfather, Marshall Wilson, Brothers Ross and Marshall "Bubba" and Brotherinlaw, James Edward Sr. The family would like to thank OSF Cancer Center and Dr. Mete Korkmaz for there compassion and care.Funeral services at 11am Wednesday November 28, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 1860 South Mulford Road. Burial in Arlington Memorial Cemetery. Visitation from 10am until time of service Wednesday in the funeral home.
