Lloyd L. Heiser

May 31, 1936 — May 20, 2008

Lloyd L. Heiser , was born into eternal life on Tuesday May 20, 2008 surrounded by family after a long illness.   Born May 31, 1936, Plain WI, son of Sylvester and Grace Heiser.   Married Michaeline (Mickey) Blau on February 11, 1956.  Lloyd spent 35 years in the banking industry in various positions beginning at Central National Bank (later United Banks) in 1961.  He served as President of United Bank of Southgate until they were purchased by First of America Bank, and later became National City Bank from which he retired.   A 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Muldoon Council 470, and a 4th degree member of the General Assembly 190 and was in charge of the Honor Guard.   He cherished his faith, family, travel, woodworking,  gardening, and hunting and fishing with the boys.   He is survived by his loving wife and only girl Mickey, children Teri (Chris) Seivert ,  Rockford, Tom (Maryanne), Lawrenceville, GA, Tam (Mark) Heimer , Rockford, Todd, Chicago, IL.   Grandchildren, Ian, Justin, Trevor, Jared and  Britton Seivert; Patrick  and Michael Heiser, Jordan, Andrew, and Grace Heimer.   Sister Marlene (John) Deery , Cedar Falls , IA  Various brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was pre-deceased by his parents; Grace and Sylvester  and his brother Ralph. He taught all of us how to fight the great fight to the very end and his faith never wavered.   Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am Monday, May 26, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church.  Interment will be private in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd from 7-9 p.m.  with a Rosary service at 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at church from 10-10:45. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family for  a fund to be established at a later date.
