Lois J. Guccione

Lois J. Guccione, 94, Rockford, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011, at Wesley Willows Health Center.nbsp; She was born February 23, 1917, in Freeport, the daughter of Raymond and Mabel (Manske) Fleck. She attended Freeport schools and was a graduate of Browns Business College in Freeport. Lois worked with Stephenson County Abstract Company for 5 years before getting married.nbsp; She married Joseph L. Guccione in Freeport on May 5, 1942.nbsp; He passed away in Rockford on December 29, 2000. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She and Joe enjoyed traveling to Marco Island, Florida and Door County, Wisconsin.nbsp; She was an avid bridge player for many years.

Survived by her daughters, Mary Jo (Ted) Kaly of Draper, Utah and Theresa (Don) Becker of Rockford; grandchildren, Mike, John, Kris, Leslie, Erik and Ryan; her greatgrandchildren.nbsp; Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Joe, her son Tom, and her parents.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Friday, December 2, 2011, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 2400 Bell Ave. Burial in Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.nbsp; Visitation will be from 10:00am until prayers at 10:45am at the church.
