Lois May O'Donnell

Lois May O’Donnell, 89, of Cherry Valley, died on September 17, 2023 at Generations Nursing Home in Byron, IL. Born March 16, 1934 in Creston, IL; daughter of Clarence and Rose (Rowe) Cutts. Lois married Lee Patrick O’ Donnell on July 14, 1951 in Belvidere, IL; he preceded her in death on September 4, 2014. She worked for Cherry Valley Township as a clerk for 32 years. Lois enjoyed shopping so much she was known as a “professional shopper.” She also had a love for gardening and enjoyed her ‘yard art.’

Survivors include her son, John O’Donnell (Tami Dunlap); granddaughter, Brianne Pearson and great-grandchildren, Annika and Deklan Pearson. Predeceased by her parents, husband, daughter, Billie O’Donnell, and brother, Bob Cutts.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
